R script
The soundscape scores were obtained using the program R and the package seewave. Here is the current version of the R script, it requires the packages tuneR and seewave.
Sample sound data
A sample day of data collected at the Wildlife Area on 21 April 2008 is posted here. These recordings are in 16-bit wav format, stereo, with a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz, and approximately 150 Mb. Each file is 15 minutes long, recorded at the top of each hour.
